Turning Scrap into Art: The Story Behind Ironwood Garage

At Ironwood Garage, I don’t just mess with metal — I bring it back to life.

This whole thing kicked off because I got sick of handing out cheap plastic trophies at our car shows. They just didn’t fit the vibe. We wanted something cooler. Something that actually meant something. So I grabbed some old car parts, fired up the welder, and started building my own. That first batch hit hard — people didn’t just want to win the show, they wanted to win the trophy.

And it just took off from there.

What started as a side project turned into a full-blown obsession. I’ve always been into the raw, beat-up look of metal — the rust, the wear, the story behind each piece. Most folks see junk. I see potential.

Now I’m building everything from turbo clocks to piston deer heads to welded crosses made from old railroad spikes. Every piece is built by hand — no templates, no shortcuts, just real tools, real effort, and a whole lot of sparks flying.

Ironwood Garage isn’t just about making cool stuff. It’s about turning forgotten metal into something worth showing off. It’s for the gearheads, the builders, the ones who still believe in doing things the hard way — and finding meaning in the mess.

Appreciate you being part of the ride.
